the_bigshow Death is no holiday
Apr. 6th, 2008 06:46 pmDeath ends a life, but it does not end a relationship, which struggles on in the survivor's mind toward some resolution which it may never find.
The universe was divided into three parts. Before the witch, during the witch and after the witch. The witch was gone. Dead. Sent away. No one ever had to worry about her again.
Except for Azkedillia who still sometimes heard the evil voice in her mind. It would never matter how long the witch was gone, she knew she would always hear that voice. Since she was a child that voice told her over and over that she needed to be stronger, to be more certain about what she did. If only she could do what the witch commanded they would have no trouble with their plans and it all would have been over years before.
It didn't matter there was no logic to that or that she was doing the very best she could. It didn't matter, later, that there was no way they could have known DG had been spirited away. None of that mattered. That voice was insidious.
And it was never going to go away. Not ever.
