Azkedillia never asked her parents about the days when the Sorceress was in power. She couldn't stand the pained expressions when they had to edit their responses because they didn't want to hurt her. DG, of course, didn't have that problem. She also had so little tact that she'd ask when Az was in the room.
Maybe she thought Azkedillia wanted the answers, but that wasn't the case. Watching from her corner of the library, Az thought it was about time she told her little sister to leave her out of the game of catch up. What Az needed was the ability to move on with her life.
She knew it would be a fight. One of those conversations where the sisters both spoke passionately without either of them really understanding what the other was saying. They would get frustrated and feelings would get hurt before they gave it all up for a lost cause.
Taking a deep breath, she closed her book and stood to leave. On the way out of the library she stopped and kissed her sister on the top of her head, earning her an astonished look. She walked out without looking back. Time enough for the fight later.
